Blue Heart Springs
Our main office and launch site is located less than one mile from Blue Heart Springs. We offer free parking and an assortment of kayak and paddle board rentals. On the way to Blue Heart Springs, guests can view the crystal-clear water of Box Canyon as it flows into the Snake River. The paddling time to and from Blue Heart Springs typically takes one (1) hour round trip to complete.

Do you want to explore both Blue Heart Springs and Ritter Island? Guests will launch from Blue Heart Kayaking and paddle approximately 4.5 miles toward Thousand Springs State Park. Experience the stunning beauty of Box Canyon, Blue Heart Springs, Lemmon Falls and Ritter Island. This itinerary takes approximately four (4) hours to complete from start to finish. Guests will float/paddle with the river current for the duration of this trip, with the exception of circumnavigating Ritter Island. After exploring Ritter Island, guests will paddle directly across the river to 1000 Springs Resort to be shuttled back to Blue Heart Kayaking. *To ensure we have adequate staff to operate shuttle we require all shuttle reservations be made at least one day in advance.
THOUSAND SPRINGS & RITTER ISLAND
Our 1000 Springs Resort rental location is located directly across the river from Ritter Island. This option allows guests to travel around the historic island while enjoying the surrounding natural springs and waterfalls.
