Attention - Reservations are Required for Personal Equipment
Welcome to Blue Heart Kayaking!
We love that so many of you enjoy the river on your own gear. To ensure we have enough parking and a smooth experience for everyone, reservations are now required for all personal equipment launches.
Blue Heart Springs Launch
Launch from our private ramp and explore the crystal-clear waters of Blue Heart Springs at your own pace. The paddle is approximately 20 minutes downstream and 40 minutes back, making it a manageable trip for most explorers.
With a four-hour maximum reservation window, your group will have plenty of time to relax, swim, and enjoy the scenery
Price: $10 per person (Children 8 & under are Free).
Duration: 4-hour maximum reservation window.
Access: Includes use of our ramp facility. (Note: Dock access is reserved for rental customers unless authorized by staff).
Requirement: A signed waiver is required for every member of your party.
All Private launch must be back 30 minutes prior to Gate Close
BLUE HEART SPRINGS AND RITTER ISLAND SHUTTLE
Personal Equipment Launch with Shuttle
Perfect for those looking to enjoy a 4.5-mile downstream paddle, this route features the stunning beauty of Blue Heart Springs, Lemmon Falls, and Ritter Island.
While the trip follows the river’s natural flow, please note that circumnavigating Ritter Island can be challenging depending on the season, wind, and your experience level. To ensure a comfortable experience, the trip is fully customizable—you can easily skip certain sections to keep it simple, allowing for a pace that suits your specific group.
Navigation Made Easy: To help you find your way, we provide a personal map and detailed directions during the check-in process so you can
explore with confidence.
– Primary Guest ($20): Includes launch fee + a shuttle seat back to your vehicle at the end of your trip.
– Additional Guests ($10/person): launch fee.
How it Works: At the end of the route (1000 Springs Resort), the Primary Guest takes the shuttle back to Blue Heart Kayaking to retrieve the vehicle. They then drive back to 1000 Springs Resort to pick up the rest of the group and the gear.
Important: We cannot shuttle personal kayaks or SUPs for liability reasons.
